Q. How do I find out if I'm a candidate?
A. Poor refractive surgery outomes can be avoided by identifying
risk factors up front before they compromise results. Come in for a complimentary

your eyes and discuss any questions you may have.
Q. How long will it take me to heal after Laser Vision Correction
procedures?
A. Because of the cornea's extraordinary natural bonding qualities,
healing is rapid. Most people are able to drive and return to work the
next day.
Q. Does the procedure hurt?
A. No. During the LASIK procedure the patient will feel some pressure
but the eye will be numbed with eye drops. During the LTK procedure there
is no cutting or touching of the eye.
Q. Will I be awake during the procedure?
A. Yes. Patients will need to fixate on a target light during the
procedure.
Q. How long does it take?
A. LASIK generally takes about 5 minutes to do each eye. LTK takes
about 15 seconds per eye.
Q. How long does the effect of the procedure last?
A. This is a permanent procedure and results are usually lifelong.
With farsightedness or hyperopia, some regression may occur over time.
