Laser Thermal Keratoplasty (LTK) corrects farsightedness in patients over the age of 40. LTK uses the energy of the Holmium YAG laser to shrink the collagen fibers of the peripheral cornea, thus steepening the central cornea.

LTK is a "no cut" and "no touch" procedure, performed under anesthetic eye drops. While the patient remains comfortably seated, the laser is delivered in painless, rapid pulses. The procedure averages about 15 seconds per eye and can be performed on site at our Union Square office.
