Medical Optometrist

Dr. Tarik Dabit completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. He then completed his Doctorate of Optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. His training incorporated diverse disciplines of primary care, ocular disease, and contact lenses. Dr. Dabit is proud to have served our military service men and women at Walter Reed National Medical Military Center and our veterans at both the San Francisco VA and Portland VA. 

Since completing his Doctorate of Optometry, he has practiced in the bay area providing comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma management and dry eye treatments to patients of all ages. He provides urgent medical care for conditions such as infections, corneal abrasions and contact lens related problems. He has a particular interest in fitting specialty contact lenses including multifocals, rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses. 

Dr. Dabit remains active in his profession as a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Dabit enjoys traveling, cooking, and golf.
